The Dirty Gov'nahs
The Dirty Guv’nahs have quickly become the most talked about rock and roll band in East Tennessee. As a six piece,
The Guv’nahs naturally grip the stage with energy; the amps are always loud, the piano barreling, and the percussion
makes you feel like a revolution is taking place. The songs are tight and ageless, with hooks and a sing-a-long feel
that makes you swear you’ve heard them before. As quoted in the Knoxville News Sentinel, "(The live show) is like an
old-time big-tent revival," vocalist/guitarist James Trimble describes. "People come in all bogged down from normal
everyday life, and we try to get 'em' up for a bit. Then they go home rejuvenated or something like that. Who knows,
maybe tomorrow they have a better day at work 'cause they danced all night the night before. That's why we play music."

MySpace page.

Jodie Manross
Known as the "little woman with the big voice," Jodie Manross has been one
of Knoxville's and East Tennessee's top singer-songwriters for some time.
Now living and recording in New York City, Jodie has opened for artists
such as BB King, John Mayer, Keb Mo and Sugarland. Jodie and her guitar
player and co-writer Laith Keilany's music has been used on television
shows such as Fox's So You Think You Can Dance and Jodie recently
performed at the United Nations. This will be one of Jodie and Laith's
first shows since Laith, who has been battling cancer for the last two
years, has been in remission. This is their fifth Earthfest performance
and always one of their favorite, dearest places to play!
Thank you Knoxville's Earthfest! For more information on Jodie, check out her
homepage and her
